PRIVATE AND GROUP HORSE RIDING LESSONS IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY NY

Fox Hill Farms can help you become as good of a rider as you want to be. Our school horses are reserved for our children's riding program with exceptions made for adults working with us to find a horse to buy or lease. We offer horse riding lesson packages for each level of riding, from beginner to advanced to the horse show circuit for Westchester County NY centrally located near Briarcliff Manor, Chappaqua,  and Armonk.  Our students can ride on their own mounts or one of our own horses. No matter how skilled a rider you are, we can tailor a lesson plan to meet your needs.

At Fox Hill, we can assign the ideal instructor to help you learn. Our talented instructors have experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds. You can trust our expertise. 

How do the lesson packages work?

Our riding lesson packages are available for children 4 years of age or older. A package is also available for adult riders looking to buy or lease while we assist with their search. We start out first-time riders with half-hour private lesson packages. Group lessons are available for riders with a bit more experience who can handle walk, trot, and canter tasks.

All students are required to purchase lesson packages which expire 3 months from date of purchase. Our program is designed for students to ride twice per week, year-round. If you need to miss a regularly scheduled lesson, please notify the office (preferably via email) at least 24 hours in advance. That lesson will need to be made up at another time before the package expires. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will count as a lesson used from the package.
