GUIDED TRAIL RIDES

The magnificent landscape of the Rockefeller State Preserve is the perfect backdrop for trail riding on one of our beautiful horses. Fox Hill Farms provides guided trail rides through Rockefeller State Preserve, allowing you to enjoy the historic Stone Barns, views of the Hudson River and the beautiful Swan Lake on horseback.
 
Trust our experts to help lead you on this guided tour and improve your riding skills. Trail rides are walk only for 90 minutes.  A shorter ride is also offered lasting 60 minutes.  For your safety, riders must be experienced and comfortable at the trot.  Call to make an appointment. We require at least 24 hours cancel notice.

90 Minute Trail Riding Fee:           $175 per person
60 Minute Trail Riding Fee:           $125 per person

Appointments for trail rides are required as space is limited (four person maximum). A $50 non-refundable deposit is required, and rain dates will be provided in case of inclement weather. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Due to insurance restrictions, riders must be 12 years of age or older. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Safety helmets are required for all riders and are available at Fox Hill Farms upon request. Riders must wear low-heeled boots and long pants such as jeans or leggings. During the summer and autumn months, bug repellent is suggested.
